Paul-Ferdinand Steuck, M.Sc.

Paul-Ferdinand Steuck founded BIST Consulting together with Daniel Bierschwale in 2018 and runs the company as managing partner. He guides companies from Hanover and across Germany from the first idea to a working AI solution, and builds it himself. As a data protection officer certified by TÜV NORD, with experience in quality management and data protection at a large corporation, he makes sure every solution gets data protection and quality right from the start.

Research focus

Anthropomorphism of generative AI and social robots

After his bachelor's degree at Hochschule Hannover in 2020, he completed his master's at the University of Hildesheim in 2023, both in business informatics. He has been a research associate in information systems and enterprise modelling there ever since, doing his PhD on the anthropomorphism of generative AI and social robots: the human-like traits of AI systems and robots, and how people respond to them. His research won the Best Research Paper award at RVI23.
